On occasion I will give some reasonable feedback in the CTC contests because people get so angry about their ratings without the feedback, so please don't take this personal. There are some things I think could bring this up to a 3.5 to 4-star image.

1. Don't include vehicles in the image.
2. I think you've got a bit to much contrast and punch in every area of the scene. Tone that down a little
3. I'd personally clone out both road signs/markers on the sides of the road
4. Bring down the saturation just a bit
5. Crop a little more off the top of the sky. Almost bring the crop down to the peak on the left of the image.

It's a well composed image, just needs some tweaks.
