We live in a small, Midwest town: Minooka, IL. Also known as, at least to me, "the Nook." We have lived here for 20 years and I have taken countless images of the "nookrise" at this very spot, just a short walk from our home. A New Yorker at heart, I have come to love the Midwest skies, clouds and slow, dazzling dawns. The Nook was really showing off on this particular, warm October morning.
