A sunset over San Francisco Bay and the Marin Mountains looking west towards the Golden Gate Bridge with the Marin Hills behind, seen from Fisherman’s Wharf. The harbor front was named after Italian immigrants who moved there after the gold rush; though the wharves have been redeveloped as a tourist attraction from the 1970s the harbor remains an active fishing port.
