During a cold morning stroll in the enchanting Otzarreta Beech Forest in northern Spain, I envisioned the opportunity to create a sort of combat battalion with the trees, as if they were defending their pristine and well-tended territory.

For the capture taken with the Canon 6D, I decided to use a 70-200 lens to compress the different planes and make the trees appear closer together, thereby giving the impression of a protective barrier surrounding the forest.
