An early-morning tram crossing Budapest's Liberty Bridge.
This is an image I shot as part of an ongoing series on trams in Eastern Europe. I waited on the edge of the platform for one of the first trams of the day to stop at the intersection before the sun rose. Taken on my Fujifilm X-T3 with a wide angle lens to include the stone features and period lights that make this historic bridge so cinematic. Basic Lightroom corrections applied for colour and contrast, a few gradients to burn the foreground and a 16x9 crop to get rid of empty space. I also used a mist filter to emphasize the mood of the scene.
Hello Titouan, We were just in Budapest and I photographed the same bridge from the same spot, only in the day time and with nothing on the bridge. Excellent photo.
Thank you for the kind words! I adore Budapest, this was a shot I just knew I needed to get. Wasn't easy getting up so early and staying out in the cold but it was certainly worth it.
I love Budapest as well. It's a beautiful city with a wonderful vibe. And, so many interesting things to photograph.
