Los Osos Estuary/Morro Bay CA - White's Point
This at the bottom of the estuary, traveling to the right brings you into the Morro Bay harbor, and from there past the Rock and out to the ocean. The tree sits at the end of a peninsula wrapping the White's Point small boat harbor, under which is a bench to sit and look out towards Morro Rock. At dusk, with the marine layer rolling in, I set up my subject with a white gas lamp, shrouded with a white linen, to suggest that she was awaiting the return of the fleet.
