Glaciers generate their own weather; I shot this photograph in September 2021 while on a photo shoot at the base of this Glacier. We started out late morning hiking up the south face. The temperature at the base was warm and sunny 67 degrees. As I climbed the temp started dropping and the wind kicked up. At the top the wind was gusting to 40mph and the temperature to 31. Without a tripod, I managed to get these shots off.
