1.58 - "Needs Work"

Fall colors begin peaking in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. Image taken in a section of Reeve's Bogs within the Brendan T Byrne state forest. Photo taken with a Fuji XT3 and a 70-300mm Fuji lens with 1.4x extender. Focal length was 420mm at f8.0, 1/200 sec and ISO400. This scene was inaccessible across a large body of water. The telephoto lens helped me isolate this scene. In post I set the white & black points, adjusted highlights & shadows, reduced clarity with negative dehaze to create a watercolor effect. A small vignette focuses the eye on the center of this scene.

Beautiful. Colors are pastel gorgeous. I wonder if the trees could be just a little darker for more definition. Just a thought.
