Landscape Photography

The Portland Head Light. This is a pretty commonly photographed lighthouse in Maine, but I've yet to see the second lighthouse in the back as a more prominent feature. As the lighthouse in the back is very far away, my goal with this shot was to move as far back as possible and shoot telephoto to pull the it forward. This is a blend of 2 shots, one for the dynamic lighting in the foreground and one for pretty much everything else (sky, water, lighting on lighthouse). I got here early enough where I only had to remove one or two people. Shot on my Sony A7R V on the Tamron 35-150 at f8.0 ISO 100.
