Autumn Blaze began as a photograph of a field of wildflowers and weeds on a misty morning. A whole year went by before I started editing Autumn Blaze. Much of my work evolves through experimentation, and I experimented with multiple versions before getting the look I wanted. I over-saturated the image's color and then burned and highlighted the photograph to get the gold flower effects.
