An dramatic image taken at Ribeira de Janela on the island of Madeira. A single very long exposure image taken after sunset but looking east to catch unusual glow from the setting sun behind. Taken using the Sony A1 camera and the Sony 12-24mm wide-angle lens, Haida 10 stop filter and a very steady fotopro tripod. The need to focus stack was avoided by using a high f-stop and such a wide-angle lens. The sea stacks are deliberately in profile to keep the viewers focus on the foreground and horizon.

The colors are beautiful, and the foreground rocks really add to the image. I would love to see a slightly tighter crop and a bit more definition in the background rock stacks.
