Storm clouds roil over Ben Lomond Peak, North Ogden Utah. Ben Lomond is the highest mountain in the Wasatch Range, and is distinguished by its east-west orientation, rather the north-south orientation of the rest of the range.

Ben Lomond Peak is the recipient of some pretty spectacular sunsets. On this day, I saw a break in the low clouds from a passing storm. I hurried to a spot I knew and waited for the sun to set in the horizon. As I waited for the light to bathe the hills in an intense red light, the clouds played in and around the crevices of the 9'716 foot peak.
