"Abandoned Shipwreck" - Cayucos, California
This image was shot 6-23-2024 just after 6:30pm. I used the Nikon Z6ii with the Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 @70mm coupled with the FTZ II adapter. I used the following settings: f/14, 30 seconds, ISO 400.
I used Capture One 23 Pro to edit and crop this to my liking. I wanted it to have an "Old-time film-esque vibe" per my perception of what that might be having never shot much film except when I was younger before the digital age. I dropped the sliders for Highlights, Shadows, and Brightness. There is a very slight boost to Contrast (+3.0). I applied 4 separate Adjustment Mask Layers to adjust things in the image. I Enable Black & White and under the Color Sensitivity section set the sliders to the following: Red = 0, Yellow = +51, Green = -31, Cyan = -86, Blue = -100, Magenta = 0. No Adjustments were made to: Clarity, Structure; Dehaze, or any Vignetting. The slider for Sharpening was set to 0. Noise Reduction Settings: Luminance = 0, Detail = 50, Color = 0, Single Pixel = 0. Film Grain was set at: Type = Soft Grain, Impact = 100, Granularity = 50. I cropped the image to what you see here.
I hope you enjoy this image! Thanks for considering it in the contest and please leave a comment, good or bad, I promise my feelings will not get hurt.

Yes I know the spot very well and the boat - as we hike around the coast a lot.
