This is a 7-panel panorama shot with a DJI Mavic 3 Cine and auto-stitched in LrC. Post-processing was done in LrC, and finally, it was taken into Topaz for denoising and sharpening. This shot was a stroke of luck. I was walking around La Jolla in the afternoon with an early departure scheduled for the following day. While I had planned to capture a lot of drone shots, I also had the Sony A1 + 600mm with me and got distracted by the wildlife. Fortunately, the M3 was in my backpack, so I decided to launch it and take a look. I flew out over the ocean and looked back. The view was breathtaking. After maneuvering in and out, up and down, and taking over 200 shots, I just couldn’t achieve the desired result. That's when I decided to come in closer and shoot a panorama to capture more detail and compression. Being far offshore to capture the entire scene just wasn't cutting it. To date, this image remains my best-selling stock photo. The LrC file is 58 mpix raw. Greatly reduced in size here to upload.
