Story
Me and my husband are now retired and for free time we combined our hobbies. My husband is naturalist, former forester and former teacher in forest faculty and my lifelong hobby is photography. So we both organize trips to the nature for us. In the beginning of January when the weather forecast promised clear sunny day we decided to visit a riparian forest next to the river Morava in Austria close to the border between Austria and Czechia. However, the target forest was in thick fog. Nevertheless my husband wanted to go there for taking pictures of small creatures hibernating in decayed wood of fallen trees. The forest looked like a forest from ghostly fairy tale. Suddenly the Sun appeared slightly penetrating through the fog and the dry grass in foreground caught yellowish color with orange undertone. The contrast between yellow grass and trees hidden in the fog spoke to me and I took the picture. At home I slightly highlighted colors using software Zoner Photo Studio X.
