This shot of the rugged coastline of Sao Miguel in the Azores, taken in August 2023, captures the dramatic and raw beauty of the island's volcanic origins. Some post-processing touches were made in Lightroom to accentuate the contrast of the dark storm clouds, the mist on the horizon and the subtle lighter tones on the mainland. The photo was taken handheld on Canon 90D with Canon EF 24-105 lens.
