I made this image from photos taken in the Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness in New Mexico. By necessity, the foreground image was taken during the blue hour and the Milky Way image taken after astronomical twilight ... when it was DARK, dark. Noise reduction in DxO Photolab and composite in Photoshop to combine the two images and balance the exposure.
