This image was shot on a Sony A-1 with non-optimal settings (1/4000sec, F9.0, ISO 3200, 140mm focal length). The camera was set up for shooting Birds in Flight when I noticed the cityscape behind me. I liked the light on the buildings as the early morning sun started to break through the clouds. So, I quickly took the shot without stopping to change the camera settings. The day was very grey and overcast but, in my minds eye, I saw golden light on the city. So, I shifted the colors in Photoshop along with exposure and contrast adjustments. DxO was used to reduce the noise.
