Manus 2018
I captured this image with the Nikon D500 with Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 lens attached. I was at the Dallas Zoo for a "Behind the Scenes Photo Tour" led by the Zoo's Photographer. This was an informative and instructional tour and the first time I ventured away from "Camera Auto". My settings were all over the place but the D500 is excellent at covering a multitude of sins!
I re-edited this image in Capture One 23 Pro for this contest. Slight adjustments to: White Balance, Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, Shadows, Black Point, Clarity, Structure, and Dehaze. Highlights dropped significantly. A little Sharpening and Noise Reduction added. Cropped and slight Vignette for this perspective.
