This is a male Eastern Bluebird perched in the Crabapple Tree in my yard in Eastern Pennsylvania during a winter snow event.

I photographed him with my Canon 5D Mark IV paired with a Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens. 380mm ISO 2500 f/6.3 1/1250

I keep a small bird feeder, (only supports one or two birds at a time) a few feet from the tree. Seated in a small blind nearby, I photograph the various birds as they wait for their turn at the feeder.

Basic adjustments were done in Lightroom Classic and then further cleanup (removing a few distractions in the background) was done in Photoshop. Also some additional enhancements to light and shadow were done with Photoshop.
