I live in the valley south of Salt Lake City, UT. The mountains and trails here are impressive.
Hobble Creek Parkway, a paved running/biking pathway, cuts through Mapleton, a town near where I live. Gives a tour of pristine mountain views, farmlands, and pricey homes. A lot of people here have horses ...mostly working horses. As a country boy, I can't resist photographing them.
I bought a g85 for streaming and decided to try it as a travel/street camera paired with a Meike 35.
ISO 100, 1/320, unsure of the f-stop the Meike is declicked. 5.6?
Four edits (really only 2) are more subtle than what I list below. Basically, brighten the subject and darken the background.
Select Subject(subtract bars) - lowered highlights and contrast, raised whites.
Inverted select subject (added bars) - Increased shadows and blacks. Raised contrast. Dropped exposure
An Oblong Radial Mask to fit the horse's head - pulled exposure down to create a Vignette
I inverted it to pull up the exposure around the horse's head.
