"Read My Scars"
A shoot with sfx liquid latex scar makeup. My friend and I wanted to create a scarred character and she got her father-in-law to model for us. He didn't have any modelling experience but it was pretty easy to get that inner hitman/mob boss out of him.
Shot with three lights, 90cm soxtbox as key, 120cm softbox as fill and a stripbox with grid as a rim. Edited in Photoshop.

I agree with the other comments about the style of this picture. It really tells a story.
Personally the eyes look a little soft and for me need to be more of the focus if they were what was sharp instead of his nose and beard just draws the eye subtley away from the eyes which is a shame because this concept and picture is stunning
Thanks for the comment! Yes, the yes are little soft. It's not as bad as shown in the gallery though, compression makes it look way more smushy.
So many people don't know how to properly edit skin. This is a fantastic example of how to do it perfectly.
