Nico wanted some images of himself with his latest work. When I arrived, his studio was a mess, but we shifted a dozen or more canvases and plonked him on the floor admist some of his clutter. This was taken I think with just one small softbox and one speedlite, although in some of the other shots I used a second speedlite aimed at the ceiling for fill light. Hard to remember but the space was fairly dark. I have since taken photos of his paintings for printing and exhibitions.
