This was lit with a 55 inch octa above her 45 degrees, and with a white reflector as fill. I had a 9x35 inch strip box as rim light off her left shoulder.

Since the moment we set up a shoot, I knew I wanted to shoot her on a purple background to complement her skin tone. We shined her chest up a bit, but not too much, however, her cheekbones and lip color make this image one of my favorites. She had many outfits ready but I chose this to complement the colors but not draw any attention away from the brown skin.
