I enjoy maternity shots and this is a photo of a friend of mine whom I was doing maternity portraits on the beach in LA. Taken at sunset using a Nikon D100. Its one of my personal favorite shots because of the expression and pose. I did use a flash and it overpowered a bit of her arm creating a harsh shadow on the body but that in my opinion didn't kill the image. I created the tones to give it a cinematic feel.
