I really like this image even if it suffers a bit from quality. This was shot in a lava field in eastern California using a Nikon D100. It was fairly dark and shot handheld so it also suffers a bit from a lack of clarity. The resolution suffers from the camera sensor but the image I like due to the contrast in nature between the rock and skin. This seems to be a dream like image and speaks to many interpretations. I did dodge and burn the rocks to highlight the contrast and wish I could reshoot this with a better camera as the old camera sensor and lens fringing are distracting.
