The shot was taken on a tripod. I set the exposure for the background ambient light and had the model hold my iPhone 6 in her hand. To balance the lighting levels, I dialled down the screen's brightness to 50%. Canon 5D Mark III, EF24-70mm f/2.8L II USM @38mm f/2.8 0.4sec, ISO1000.
