This post-modern abstract was captured one afternoon while sitting in my living room. The light from the sun, already low in the sky, struck my living room window at an oblique angle, refracting it into its component colors, landing on our new 'hand-painted' upholstery. I quickly ran to grab a camera (Nikon F) and with a 55mm f/2.8 Macro lens made this image on Kodachrome 64. I advanced the film to make a second image but by the time I had composed the shot, the colors were gone.
