"Shadow side"

For this image I let my partner help me - I had an idea for quite some time to use a glass prism to play with reflections/light. I instructed him to hold the prism in front of the camera lens so I could get an image of myself with a double - the result though, came out way more creative (even ideal in my eyes) than I initially hoped for.

I have always been fascinated by taboo and dark matters. That is partly because I'm no stranger to mental health issues. I have come a long a way to be the person I am today, but that doesn't mean I don't embrace the shadow part of myself.
Just like in many cultures, where cheek kissing is a common form of greeting - it perfectly demonstrates the topic of this image.

Used: glass prism, 2 flashes
Camera settings: 1/500 sec at f/1.4, 35 mm focal length, ISO 200
Editing: LR (image -> B&W, tweaked highlights, shadows, curves and did some more minor fixes e.g. enhancing the prism reflection's eye)
