Hello,
This was shot during an amazing photo shoot with two models, geisha facial makeup and some sushi.
The light is from two speed lights and it bounces off the aluminum papers behind the models and off the table which had clear plastic on it, the models were drenched in baby oil to have shiny skin as well.
This was shot with the Canon 5dmk2 camera and the 24-105mm f4 IS lens that I used quite a lot for model photo shoots.
The lighting is quite moody and I think it brings a mysterious effect to the photo where the viewer has to decide what exactly they are looking at.
Cheers!
The lighting actually looks amateurish and overexposed. The cropping is also way too tight, cutting off both model's heads and part of the second model's upper torso. On top of that, the main model's arm is closest to the camera, which makes her hand look abnormally large. For all I know, it could be another person's arm.
The composition is as bad as the lighting, and the expression looks fake and forced. There's no connection between the model and the camera; it's more like the model saying, "Is this how you want me to pose??"
This is not moody or erotic, it's just crass and gratuitous.
