This image was taken at Broken Top in Central Oregon after the second night of backpacking. It's embarrassing to say, but I was too wiped out to wake up for sunrise, but I was very fortunate that the photography conditions later in the morning were great. I pushed my edit on this photo far more than usual, as I wanted to portray the dramatic peaks and skies. I pushed the color some on the water, however it really is a beautiful teal/turquoise color in person.
