After a night of rain i woke up early in the morning at my campground in the Columbia river gorge and noticed the scene unfolding behind the campground. This was one of two images i took of this moment. one at 70mm and one at 200mm and decided to keep the 200mm shot as it was more simple to look at.
shot on a canon R5 and a sigma 70 to 200mm, i dodged the fog a lot added some light bleed and a gaussian blur for a more ethereal feel. This moment just screamed PNW to me as it was unfolding before my eyes.
