Golden light creeping into the swamp at Lake Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge. Trees and composition has always been a challenge to me. This was an early morning on the boardwalk trail through the swamp. I like to look around and pick out what catches my eye, this scene did just that. I used a tripod and a 24-70 2.8 lens to achieve a sharp image. "Follow the light" was on my mind before settling on this particular scene. It's just another adventure I would have never experienced if it wasn't for my camera.
