This image was taken in Yellowstone National Park along the Firehole Lake Drive on a cold, mid-September morning. I was one of the only people along the road for about 30, so the solidarity paired with the dense fog gave an eerie feeling the entire time. Given that this photo was taken in Yellowstone with its fragile features, I was constrained on where I could go to get my composition. I did edit out a log in the bottom right of this image to focus the eye on the remnants of the darker tree on the right. Taken with a Fujifilm XT-3 and 18-55mm kit lens.
