After dropping off my wife at work (she runs a bookshop in Tintern) I was passing the Great Abbey at Tintern (Sir Fynwy, Cymru) and seeing the foggy conditions and the Sun rise just had to pop in and see if I could make a photo. As I drove into the car park I could see the Sun rising behind the Abbey and quickly chose a position. I usually take my camera with me and this morning was no exception. On this occasion it was my trusty old Panasonic G1 and 14-45mm lens. It was hand-held and under exposed I think. In Lightroom I made adjustments to white balance, exposure and added some noise reduction. I have passed this fine Cadw monument many times since and have not seen the conditions as good.
