The Roots of the Earth at the Grand Canyon
When I photographed the Grand Canyon, I was captivated by the shape of the rock formations. They look like giant roots reaching toward the sky, as if the earth itself were trying to grow upward. That’s exactly what I wanted to capture with my image—a moment where nature and imagination intertwine.
The depth of the canyon and the sharp lines of the cliffs inspired me to choose a perspective that conveys the sheer scale of this place. It’s not just about what you see, but what you feel standing there: awe, humility, and the realization of how small we are compared to the power of nature.
