The Forgotten River
I had walked up and down this path multiple times without registering this composition. Finally as the light began to fade the salt from an old forgotten stream started to gleam leading its winding way to the mountains of Badlands of Turkey. The height of the camera had to be just right not only to catch the gleam but also too low and you could not follow the leading line of the river and too high would mean losing sight of the cracks in the river bed. Processing included a ton of selective contrast, lighting up the subject of the photo - the mountains and a wee bit of desaturation.
