Canon 5DS Mark III 24-105L at 45mm 1/200 F10
My high school senior wanted a fresh snowfall to add drama to a ballet dance session. At 20F degrees, she could only jump or pose a couple of times before running away to warm up! Using softbox and a speedlight to light her, I also placed a flash in the background on a 10ft light stand- looking for the effect you see here... but it was visually too small. So I selected the flash and copied it to a new layer, enlarged significantly and added warming. She was standing on asphalt, right at the edge of a plowed snow bank, so I filled in the foreground around her toe with snow copied from other parts of the image.
