This image was take at a Cowboy Mounted Shooting competition in Saskatchewan Canada. The contestants ride as fast as possible through the course and shoot balloons. The firearms are from around the 1800's and loaded with black powder. They will break the balloon at approx. 15 feet. No live rounds are used. I was lucky enough to capture this fellows hat fly off just prior to him pulling the trigger. Very little editing done to this image. Just removed a few distractions from the left side, converted to black and white and added a bit of a vignette.
