The way into the cold.
The Sylvenstein Reservoir is an artificially created reservoir in the Bavarian Alps and serves to protect the water supply of the communities along the Isar. There is a village in the lake from which the residents had to be relocated for the construction of the lake and the corresponding dam. In the cold season, fog often forms over the lake, which further underlines the whole scenery. It is also often the case that winter begins at the other end of the bridge.
I photographed this from a tripod, with a polarizing filter to direct the reflections and balanced the sky with a 0.6 ND filter, which runs slightly into the mountain peaks.
