I took this photo in the col between Eisenhower and Franklin in the White Mountains on November 24, 2022. While not technically winter by either the meteorological or astronomical definition, the trails were definitely in full winter conditions and I ended up post-holing much of my time above treeline. It was socked in on both summits but on the way back from Franklin I ended up just below the cloud deck and shot this composition with a trail sign with my Canon Rebel T7. My camera settings were 1/1000 sec shutter speed, f/5.6, and ISO 100 at 24mm.
