We visited Lago di Dobbiaco in the dolomites on a moody, snowy day. Looking across the lake, I saw this chalet framed beautifully by the towering, stock-straight pines - a perfect alpine escape.

I cropped the photo in a taller aspect ratio to fit the pines, and edited this in a slightly more low-key style to fit the mood. I also added a tinge of blue tones to the shadows to bring out the coldness of winter, and a vignette to draw attention to the chalet itself.
