This is the Carmel Mission bell tower. We toured the site the previous day, and I thought the bell tower would look great with the sun hitting the interior at sunrise. I got up early the next morning and drove to the mission. The grounds were not open that early, but fortunately, I was able to get this image from the parking lot. Given the upward angle, I had to do a bit of perspective adjustment. This print hangs on our stairwell. In the evening, the gold glows on the canvas print as if it were lit from behind.
