A warm overcast day I found the largest patch of flowers I'd ever seen. Under partly cloudy skies and shade of tall Cottonwood Trees and high red canyon walls I was in paradise, and got to work quick, scoping out subject before conditions might change. I setup several composition, and came across this pair. And stuck with them till the sun dropped below the canyon rim. Photographed both color and black & white, 35mm & 4x5 formats all from tripod mounted camera and small lens aperture setting for maximum depth-of-field.
