Liatris pleases in many different ways. We have enjoyed them in our front yard as they host monarch or swallowtail butterflies. Their tall stalks with feathery purple flowers are a joy to watch themselves. One day, actually, a few days after photographing some butterflies flutterby them, I decided to sit and record what the wind may draw for me. These gracefully moving buds are just showing off in the wind.
