The Oceanside Pier in So. CA. attracts people whose passion is fishing. For me it's a place where I am able to capture the souls of real people of all ages, genders, and nationalities. Being engrossed in their sport, I am able to fade into the crowd and go unnoticed . This foggy Sunday morning I was drawn to what I considered an intriguing woman and was able to get several photos of her in profile. The background fog was perfect as was the soft light on her face.
