This photo depicts the beautiful red rock mountains of Sedona, Arizona, captured from inside a cave overlooking the vast landscape. I wanted to give the image an otherworldly feel. Rather than enhancing the natural vibrance and richness of the red rocks, I took the opposite approach by muting the colors and completely desaturating the tones, creating a sense that you’re looking into another world, on an entirely different plane.
