A Review of the New Fujifilm X-E4 Mirrorless Camera

Fujifilm recently announced the X-E4, the latest camera in the company's beloved X Series line of mirrorless cameras, and it pairs their latest X-Trans sensor with a lot of new features and capabilities at an affordable price. Coming to you from Maarten Heilbron, this excellent video takes a first look at the new Fujifilm X-E4 mirrorless camera. The X-E4 builds upon a strong foundation laid out by previous X Series cameras and brings with it a variety of new features and improvements, including:

  • 26.1-megapixel X-Trans 4 APS-C sensor
  • Native ISO range of 160-12,800
  • 2.36-million-dot EVF (0.62x magnification)
  • 3-inch rear touchscreen with 180-degree tilt
  • 4K video at up to 30 fps
  • 1080p video at up to 240 fps
  • 8 fps burst rate using the mechanical shutter
  • 20 fps burst rate using the electronic shutter (up to 30 fps with a 1.25x crop)
  • 425 phase detection autofocus points
  • 380-shot battery life
  • Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  • 11 film simulations
