A wide-aperture 35mm lens is versatile and useful for a wide range of genres and applications ranging from portraiture to events coverage, and Nikon's mirrorless version comes with a variety of features, including:
- Three aspherical elements for reduced distortion and increased sharpness
- Two extra-low dispersion elements for reduced chromatic aberrations and increased clarity
- Nano Crystal Coat and Super Integrated Coating for reduced flares and ghosting and increased contrast
- Stepping motor for smooth and quiet autofocus suitable for both photo and video work

The price does not sound that reasonable. I wish it was half of the cost. Eventually Nikon will sell it refurbished.
Well the lens costs around 70$ more than the Sony FE 35mm 1.8 but is by far superior. I don't see how that price is not reasonable.
