It's highly unlikely that many photographers have a 3D wiggle lens. What is it? And do you really need one?
Standing out in the sea of photographers already out there can be difficult. Sometimes, a quirky lens can be the answer, and this 3D wiggle lens featured by Mathieu Stern in his latest video could be just what you are looking for.
In a nutshell, this lens built by George Mua is a stereoscopic lens designed for digital cameras. If you don't know what the term stereoscopic means, it is the process by which multiple photographs of the same object are taken at slightly different angles and then viewed together. This effect creates an impression of depth and gives a 3D feel to the image. Stern's video starts by telling the story of this particular technology where you may be surprised to learn how old this type of photography actually is. Plenty of image examples are shown in the video which should get the creative juices flowing as well as help you to decide if you think a lens like this is actually worth adding to your camera bag.
I can definitely see clients and social media followers loving the effect a stereoscopic wiggle lens creates and the resulting images being popular on people's feeds. Any kind of specialist lens should always be used in moderation in my opinion, although I can personally can see the benefits of having such a lens when you want to create something a little different.

Looks like fun. I would try it once, but not really use it.
Here's what I'd like to see, at least 8 of these cameras/lens set on a track and all of them set to take pictures at differant times. I forget what the system is called, but its a track with several lens/camera that take images at differant heights and when merged, it appears as if the camera or your view is going around the subject.
